DAM: ARMCH/GCH Rosasharn TL Arwen 8*D 'E' 2*M VEEE 90; 20.25" AR1809
I really need to work on getting a better picture of this very handsome boy. He is so friendly that taking pictures is not easy! Gideon is a very dairy buck, being long, sharp, and angular, having a nice open, high escutcheon and good width throughout. He has the highest, sharpest, tightest withers and shoulders!!!
His dam, Arwen, has a capacious udder with one of the highest rear udders seen on an ND according to Anne Peterson and 2 X Rs. Ch Sr. ADGA; 3 X ADGA Gr. Sr.
Several Best udders + BU ANDDA Specialty show 2007 and more.
Gideon's Paternal Grandam, Buckwheat Honey, oozes dairy character placing 5 times Best doe in show and 8 times best udder; 1 X 2007 AGS National Champion Sr. Doe and 1 X 2007 AGS National Champion Best Udder! She also placed #1 for 2007 Milk Production with ADGA!
Gideon's paternal Grandsire, Tom Fulery, is full brother to ARMCH Rosasharn's Uni 3*D 'E', the 2002 & 2003 Breed leader for milk production and protein and she is the 2007 All-Time Butterfat Production Record Holder for Nigerian Dwarfs!
Gideon's Paternal Great Grandam, ARMCH Rosasharn's Eclipse 2*D 'E', was the 2005 National Champion at age 10 and was #1 for milk, butterfat and protein in 2001! Well, we could go on and on about this young man's pedigree, which truly does speak for itself!! The frosting on the cake is that Gideon is very handsome, a total sweetheart and a real gentleman with his ladies! He likes to sing to his girls! Thanks so much Anne for this fabulous addition to our herd!!
Gideon's first kids have hit the ground! His genetics are blending very nicely with our herd! He is adding additional dairy refinement and length to his kids, as well as his incredibly sweet temperment.
July 2007 & April 2008 ~ Gideon Neg. for CAE, Brucellosis, & Johnes! We decided to test our adult herd for Cl August of 2008 ~ All Neg for CL. All testing done at WADDL.

We are very excited to add Micah's outstanding genetics to our herd! Micah has a level topline, is long bodied with good width throughout, good depth of body, open ribbing, having good width to the rump. Micah is line bred on, and double grandson of the legendary Gay-Mor RA Kingwood. He should improve foreudders and increase capacity as well as improve toplines.
Micah's dam has an extremely snug as a bug udder, having greater extension to the fore over her dam. This is a consistent trait that Kingwood threw to his offspring. She has beautiful height to the rear udder. She has placed 1st and 2nd her only two shows as a first freshener and now as a second freshener she's placed 1st in 4 shows & was Reserve Grand Champion & a close contender for Best Udder! She is also Dam of the 2008 AGS National Champion Jr. Doe. Micah's sire, Mercury Rising was the 2008 AGS Res. National Champion Buck!

Micah 11 months. Excuse the picture. After spending time going round and round and round with Micah following my every move, I gave up getting a photo. That's what happens when you have friendly bucks *smile*. So I stepped outside the pen and took this. Sigh. He needs to be finished clipping anyway, so I'll try again.

Cavalier is a very eye catching and a very stylish buck!! He has that "look at me" attitude, what Cheryl calls "the Hazel Nut strut"! He is extremely easy to handle with a gentle nature. He loves to jump in our lap and give kisses and has the most laid back personality. I just love this buck! To top it off, he has very flashy coloring and chocolate moonspots! It's too bad he is so hairy in this photo! Hopefully you can see how correct he is. Cav has a natural uphill stance, is very sharp and angular having thin dairy skin, a high, wide escutcheon, a wide set to his rear legs, good spring of rib, flat bone, and high, sharp withers. He has tight toes and good feet and legs. His dam Ballerina, is very elegant and feminine with FLAT bone, a beautiful udder, terrific legs and feet, and wonderful dairy skin. She is also a great milk producer & is doing very well in the show ring. (1x Grand Champion Senior Doe (ADGA-2008) and 1 x Best of Breed (ADGA-2008); 1x Grand Champion Senior Doe (AGS-2008).

2005 Reserve National Champion buck x MCH Twin Creeks BW Grande Finale 'E')
Cody has very loose, pliable dairy skin, a high & wide escutcheon, good spring of rib and good ribbing, no toe out that I can detect, sharp withers and tight shoulders, and having nice brisket extension. Look at that long, elegant dairy neck! He is a very friendly and sweet boy. His sire Halifax is a very long, dairy buck (he scored 2.9 out of 3 in the Style/Upstanding category in his AGS Classification!), coupled with his impressive show record: 1 x Jr CH Buck, 3 x RGCH Buck, 2 x GCH Buck (one leg lost), and 1 x Best Sire & Son (with his sire; Rosasharn Tom's Water Tabby *S) as well as Reserve All-American Buck, 2 years to under 3, in 2006. His breeder at Dawnland Farm states that: "Halifax has many daughters on the ground now and they are showing real quality in their conformation: long bodies, flat ribbing, dairy character."
