Lacie's Extended Pedigree

Lacie has excellent conformation, a beautiful mammary and a wonderful temperment to match. She has one of the highest AGS Classification scores in the Nigerian Dwarf breed ~ a 92!!! Her total score of 92 certainly reflects her overall quality. Lacie was Linear Appraised with a FS of 90 (Excellent), at a little over 5 years old, making that her Permanent Appraisal Score! Our Appraiser was extremely impressed with Lacie ~ ESPECIALLY her mammary. Lacie has placed #6 for High Milk Production in the country on her One Day Milk Tests with AGS, two years in a row! 2009 and 2010!! Her sire and her paternal grandmother have both earned their Superior Genetics Awards. We feel so blessed to have Lacie as our foundation doe. She will definately spend the rest of her life with us!

Lacie is a very feminine and stylish doe with lots of sharpness, pliable dairy skin, being deep and wide. She also possesses great spring of rib and strength of bone, being very sharp and angular, with a strong front end assembly. Lacie has a very capacious udder that is still socked on, with long, plump, near plumb teats, making her a DREAM to milk. Her udder is butter soft and milks down to nothing. She has a very high rear udder, nice udder arch, good fore extension and a wide udder floor. Though her rear udder is very high, I'd like to see a bit more extension, and a stronger MSL.

Lacie's paternal sister, as well as maternal aunt ~ SGCH Jobi Deana 5*M 91 ~ placed 3rd at the ADGA 2010 Nationals and Best Udder in her class at Nationals!! There is consistency and depth of pedigree in this line as evidenced by excellent appraisal scores, Superior Genetics awards, and show wins, etc.

Tuscan Sun ~ "Sunny"~ excells in dairy character & general appearance, and is a very feminine and elegant doe. She is very long, sharp & angular, having tight shoulders & sharp withers, and very good rear leg angulation. She stands on excellent front legs, has a nice level rump, and a very wide escutcheon. This is a repeat breeding that produced Tuscan Sun's gorgeous full sister, MCH (Pending) Sandy Hollow SHO Treasure, who has won Grand Champion three times, Best Udder of Breed in 2010 as a 2nd freshener, and won the Champion Challenge Class in 2011 as a 3rd freshener.

Sunny is very tightly line bred on the beautiful Rosasharn TL Ukulele Ke'a +*B +*S who is the son of Rosasharn Uni (All time breed leader for milk!) and the famous Rosasharn's Tiger L. Ukulele consistently throws stylish kids, with capacity, large teat size and excellent general appearance. His son, Sun's sire, Hickory Oak, is a gorgeous boy who has a nice wide open escutcheon with angulation to his rear leg set, thin dairy skin, nice long length to his body, sleek neckline, tight withers, a beautiful dish face, and a long flat rear. Hickory has improved sharpness and correctness in shoulder assemblies, as well as adding extension to the fore udder, and more correct teat size and dileniation. Hickory has one Champion Leg and one permanent champion daughter, as well as many who have earned their milk stars in ADGA.

Sunny's dam, Sunshine, has won numerous awards including 2 x Best Udder, 1 x Reserve CH, 3 x Grand Champion, 4 x's Best of Breed & 5 times Best Udder of Breed! In May 2010, Sunshine won Best Udder of Breed in 3 rings out of 4! (Her daughter, Treasure, won BUOB in Ring 1!) Not bad at 5 years old!! Sunshine is a very long bodied doe with lots of width yet is a very dairy doe with tight shoulders, open ribbing, open escutcheon, and fine dairy skin. Sunshine's udder is beautiful, very nicely attached, pliable, and an awesome medial.

Sunny freshened for the first time in February with a single doe, who we have retained. Sunny has a very promising mammary, nice teat and orfice size, overall attachments, and good MSL. Even though she only had a single, she is producing 1 1/2 qts a day at 30 days fresh (unoffical barn record). Sunny has excellent milk stand manners, easy kidder, and is an extremely patient & sweet mother.

Esther won Grand Champion on May 7th, 2011 under 3 different judges at the GTDGA show in Chino, CA, which makes her our first Joyful Hearts Permanent Dual Champion!! Congratulations to Taylor of Thomas Kids farm for finishing Esther.

Esther has a gorgeous mammary, butter soft udder, and open orifices. Esther was sold in 2010, not because she isn't a beautiful doe, but because she was a total BRAT on the milk stand! She also rejects her buck kids after they are disbudded year after year. I hear she is being a good girl in her new home :o)

Esther easily earned her AGS dairy star as a yearling first freshener, at 1.03 yrs of age!
