Odeon SHO Tuscan Sun
DOB: 2.1.10 (Quint)
LA-2010 YS: EC V V FS: EC (Extremely Correct)
DAM: GCH Sandy Hollow UK Sunshine
2*M LA-VEEE '91'
I certainly was not planning on adding a new doe to my herd this year, but when the opportunity arose to purchase
Sunshine's doeling, Tuscan Sun, how could I resist!! I admired Sunshine when she was in the Sandy Hollow herd, and in fact
had tried to reserve a doe from her several years ago. Shortly after that, the Sandy Hollow herd was dispersed.
Sun excells in dairy character & general appearance, and is a very feminine and elegant doe. She is long, sharp & angular,
having tight shoulders & sharp withers, and very good rear leg angulation. She stands on excellent front legs, has a nice
level rump, and a very wide escutcheon. This is a repeat breeding that produced Tuscan Sun's gorgeous full sister, Sandy
Hollow SHO Treasure, who just won Best Udder of Breed in 2010 as a 2nd freshener. (Her udder photo is to the left)
We couldn't ask for a sweeter little doe either, I'm so very attached to her ~ she is my little shadow when out for walks.
But I could ask for a quieter doe! She has a piercing and loud voice that can't be ignored! ha ha Tuscan Sun ~ "Sun"~ is very
tightly line bred on the beautiful Rosasharn TL Ukulele Ke'a +*B +*S who is the son of Rosasharn Uni (All time breed leader
for milk!) and the infamous Rosasharn's Tiger L. Ukulele consistently throws stylish kids, with capacity, large teat size and
excellent general appearance.
Sunny's dam, Sunshine, has won numerous awards including 2 x Best Udder, 1 x Reserve CH, 3 x Grand Champion, 4 x's Best
of Breed & 5 times Best Udder of Breed! In May 2010, Sunshine won Best Udder of Breed in 3 rings out of 4! (Her
daughter, Treasure, won BUOB in Ring 1!) Not bad at 5 years old!! Sunshine is a very long bodied doe with lots of width yet
is a very dairy doe with tight shoulders, open ribbing, open escutcheon, and fine dairy skin. Sunshine's udder is beautiful,
very nicely attached, pliable, and an awesome medial.
Sun's sire, Hickory Oak is a gorgeous boy who has a nice wide open escutcheon with angulation to his rear leg set, thin dairy
skin, nice long length to his body, sleek neckline, tight withers, a beautiful dish face, and a long flat rear. Hickory has
improved sharpness and correctness in shoulder assemblies, as well as adding extension to the fore udder, and more correct
teat size and dileniation. Hickory has one Champion Leg and one permanent champion daughter, as well as many who have
earned their milk stars in ADGA.
Tuscan Sun will be bred to Indy for early Spring kids. Reservations Closed.

Joyful Hearts JF KananiDOB: 2.5.10 (Triplet) ADGA

DAM: MCH/CH Jobi Lacie *D 'E' (92); LA VEEE 90;
2009 AGS Top Ten Milk Production Award ~ #6 Milk
Kanani is pronounced "ka NA nee" and is Hawaiian for "Beautiful" but we call her Nani. Nani is such a doll baby.....something about her calm nature soothes my soul. She will look soulfully into your eyes ~ always calm and serious about life. =) Nani's strengths right now are having a good topline, good back, and great feet and legs, and a very wide escutcheon. She has incredible show and milk genetics behind her. I was hoping to get a better photo of her but we were rushed on Linear Appraisal day.

for riches are not forever,
nor does a

When the hay is removed and the tender grass shows itself,
